An East High senior is among 25 Kansas students to receive Rudd Scholarships. Wendy De Loera plans to attend Wichita State University where she will double major in Spanish and Psychology. Her ultimate goal is to become an immigration lawyer.
“I can’t put into words what this scholarship will do for my future,” De Loera said. “It gives me a chance to continue pursuing my dreams and continue working hard and showing that with hard work and dedication anything can be accomplished.”
