A new college scholarship program worth up to $400,000 has been created to help deserving students in Kansas.
The Rudd Foundation scholarship covers any remaining cost after all other aid, grants and scholarships have been applied and gives preference to first generation and underrepresented students.
To qualify, students must qualify for a Pell Grant, be Kansas residents who attend Emporia State, Fort Hays State or Wichita State University and have a 3.0 or better high schooll GPA.
The scholarship covers tuition and fees, books and supplies, and room and board.
